| The Westfield Chess Club meets most Sundays, starting at 11:20 a.m., at the YMCA building, 220 Clark Street, Westfield, NJ 07090. We are USCF-affiliated and run rated tournaments almost every week. |
| Westfield Fall Scholastic April 19th, 2020 3 Sections: Open, U1250, U750 Open Section 3-SS G/40;d5 Rounds: 12:15, 2:00 and 3:45 p.m. U1250 & U750 Sections 4-SS G/25;d5 Rounds: 12:15, 1:30, 2:45 and 4:00 p.m. If possible, we will start rounds 2-4 in the U750 & U1250 earlier than advertised. Prizes: Trophies to Top 5 in each section. Tiebreaks used. See USCF Rule 34E. Entry Fee: $25 WCC members, $30 non-members. Westfield CC membership (optional): $40 per year. If paying by a check, please make it payable to Westfield Chess Club. No credit cards. Register: On-site, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:10 p.m. on April 19th. You may pre-register by sending an email with player's name, USCF ID number & the desired section to westfieldchessclub@gmail.com. Those pre-registered will still have to check-in during the on-site registration period to be paired. Our Scholastic Tournaments are run quarterly, in January, April, July and October. Scholastic & G/75 limited to 100 total players. |
